Verified point of silence and luxurious privacy We had two wunderful weeks in end of August to beginning September at a very private and exclusive place in the middle of oliva trees on top of a hill with beautyful view overlooking a valley. The house is perfect for a bigger family or group, fully equipped with all you need and many different places to sit, eat or relax. With the nice pool you may not even want to leave for the beautiful beaches, all around within 10-20 Minutes by car. The owner is very polite, helpfull at any time knowing all and everyone arround. What a nice place to return again.Verified Fantastic peaceful haven in Corfu We have just returned from a blissful week in this beautiful villa. The situation gave us stunning panoramic views looking east over the Ropa valley towards mainland Greece in the far distance. The pool was ideal for our group with ample sun beds & other quieter areas dotted around the property. The bbq was brilliant with a beautiful table & chairs set under a canopy. The bar by the pool with a fridge was really useful for Cold beers, water & cocktails of course. The dartboard was great fun. Although you are tucked away in the villa it’s very easy to get around the local area in a car . It’s only a short drive of approx 15 minutes to 2 coastal resorts & 30 minutes to the lovely Corfu town. The owner is a fantastic guy who cannot do enough to make your holiday perfect. We ate in his small local taverna a couple of evenings located in nearby Marmaro. Takis serves simple food, beautifully cooked with local Greek wine & beer to accompany it. On the second visit we enjoyed a spit roast lamb followed by some impromptu Greek dancing with the locals. I would highly recommend this villa for the peaceful location but with easy access to livelier areas should you want them. The owners were fastidious in their preparation and deep cleaning of the villa prior to our occupation which gave us much comfort in the challenging times we are currently in. Can’t wait to return.Verified An idyllic break amid the chaos After a chaotic 24 hours we really struck lucky here. The villa is immaculate in a stunning hilltop location with magnificent views over the Ropa valley. The friendly and extremely helpful owner Takis and his wife enhanced our experience, meeting us and guiding us up the exciting and steep lane to the property. We ate at his restaurant in the village on a couple of occasions and enjoyed the good value and tasty food which included a spectacular lamb spit roast followed by lively dancing which made for a memorable and fun evening. The pool and garden were a great place to relax through the day, and the BBQ area in the evening provided an ideal spot to eat and drink. There are some spectacular walks up the hillside through olive groves, with views over the top towards the western coastline as the sunrise happens behind you. We rate this villa very highly and lovely Takis even came up trumps helping us with our luggage back to the airport! Corfu is a beautiful island and we hope to return to further explore it, using this place again as our base.Verified Beautiful villa surrounded by breathtaking views We can only say good things about villa fioretta. It is beautifully crafted, with windows that all open up to the most amazing views looking down and across the countryside for miles; with cypress trees and olive groves rising up to the hills. It provides total privacy on all sides and although near enough to everywhere you would want to go, for those that want privacy and to be away from the more touristy areas, it is ideal. It has a large swimming pool, outside bbq and clusters of sun loungers and seating areas surrounding the villa so you can move with the sun. The owners are warm and helpful. They will do anything to help if you need to contact them. We all had a wonderful week and would happily return in the future. The villa itself is beautifully built and well appointed. All the beds, bed linen, towels and toiletries were of a very high standard. The kitchen is brilliantly well equipped and there are lots of games for adults and children. The gardens and pool area are very attractive and well maintained and views are spectacular. The luxury power shower with an inbuilt radio was a particular hit with my nine year old son. The hosts - Takis and Eri - were incredibly kind and welcoming , happy to drive up the hill from their home in the nearby village to provide helpful extras like cool boxes and olive oil! The house is so beautiful and the views are as far as the eye can see, at the top of the hill surrounded by olive orchards and endless rolling hills. We wanted splendid view, a pool and a kitchen to cook in ourselves. Villa Fioretta fit our bill perfectly, down to the friendly and playful grounds cat, who entertained us and won our hearts. I was charmed from the get-go by the owner and his wife's warm welcome. Theirs is a family outfit, and they made sure we had everything we needed. Because we didn't rent a car, they took us frequently to the shops for our supplies. If you get a car, you will be more mobile, but this wasn't something we needed for our group. The house is well-designed and built, with excellent modern facilities but a lovely traditional stone structure. I would suggest not getting the catered food but definitely getting the barbeque guy. The pool was our favorite spot, with its own fridge and bar area for snacks and cocktails. The grounds and countryside around were extensive and accessible enough for our pre-teens and the wifi good enough for our teenager. But all ages enjoyed most the barbeque and the pool space, especially under the stars. We landed in the evening where the owners of the villa met us at the airport and not only escorted us to the property but also joined us on the way for a delicious late night dinner where we enjoyed the first of many traditional Greek meals. The drive to the villa was through remote, NARROW, mountain roads so their care and hospitality was greatly appreciated! We arrived to find an absolutely lovely stone villa, completely designed and built with by the owners with every attention to detail! There are hardwood floors, stone walls inside and out and bedrooms with bedding designed with comfort in mind. Large bathrooms and bedrooms were designed with old world charm while equipped with all modern conveniences, including towel warmers and monogrammed towels. We woke in the morning to the most magnificent sunrise and then began to explore the Island. Again, the owners offered to show us around on our first day and we gladly accepted! This beautiful Island is filled with historical sites, beautiful beaches, delicious local food and spectacular views! You will feel as if you have stepped back in time and entered a place where life is simple, that is until you visit Corfu town where you wonder where all those cars could have possibly come from! When driving beware that roads are narrow and typically have no street names. A GPS is essential! Don't forget your insect repellant because the entire Island seems to have an abundance of yellow jackets that the locals don't seems to notice! Wir haben uns in dem wunderschönen Haus von Stamatis und seiner Frau während unserer dreiwöchigen Reise im Juli als Familie mit 2 Kindern rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienhäusern – und dieses gehört definitiv zu den besten, die wir je hatten: Das Haus wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut. Der Mix aus traditionellem Stil und modernster Ausstattung (Klimaanlage in der Decke, Bewegungsmelder, großer amerikanischer Kühlschrank, Dunstabzugshaube) ist rundum gelungen. Der Pool ist mit 12 × 4 Metern so groß, dass man darin wirklich gut schwimmen kann – eine absolute Rarität bei Ferienhäusern. Auch das Außengelände ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Besonders begeistert hat uns der private Gemüsegarten, in dem wir Tomaten, Auberginen, Gurken und Zucchini selbst pflücken konnten. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal: Man ist in etwa 10 Minuten in Liapades, wo es Bäcker und Supermärkte gibt- außerdem der letzte Metzger, den wir in Südeuropa gefunden haben. Größere Supermärkte findet man in Korfu-Stadt, rund 25 Minuten entfernt. Gleichzeitig genießt man absolute Ruhe – es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn. Egal zu welcher Tageszeit man auf der Terrasse sitzt: Man hört nur die Zikaden und sieht oder hört keine anderen Menschen – traumhaft. Die Reinigung zweimal pro Woche hat immer zuverlässig funktioniert, das Haus war während des gesamten Aufenthalts sehr sauber. Auch der Kontakt zu Stamatis und seiner Frau war jederzeit angenehm und völlig unkompliziert. For us this was the perfect choice in the end, not just because the house was perfect but also because the host, Stamatis, was just so helpful and knowledgable. The Villa was lovely, sitting in an olive grove towards the top of a hill, with expansive views over the Corfu landscape, and very peaceful. It was immaculate, and with everything you could want inside and out. Of course we did all the tourist stuff, Corfu town, numerous beaches, hired boats, quad bikes, but we also, on Stamatis’ recommendations visited lovely local restaurants, went olive oil tasting (instead of wine) which was a revelation and took walks on trails we would have never found, and all the while coming back to the villa, on the hillside with the lovely morning and evening breeze. Big range of facilities such as bbq area , bar area by the pool with darts, pool itself of-course is a good size . Many loungers and places to sit in the sun including hammocks. The kitchen is fully equipped even with juicers , coffee machine etc. extra things you don’t usually have. Living room had many games and cozy to chill in. Three kitties were the nicest cats I’ve ever met so friendly and doing good work of keeping away snakes since it is in the wilderness. Family are amazing , the son Kostas took us younger guys beach hopping, finishing with cliff jumping at Canal Damour. I’ll never forget that. Taking a large car or van is not recommended as the roads are steep and windy, had to swap the family van for two smaller cars , these had no problem. The Villa felt very safe, good security , there are cameras on the outside and all the doors had security gates aswell as decent mosquito nets not a single one got inside . The air con is very good and is situated throughout the villa you can control each rooms air con with a remote. Another little gem is that the villa had fruit and veg which you can harvest . Which fruit you have will depend what time of year you go, we were lucky to have Tomatoes, peppers, chilli , eggplant, melon but there were also banana and olive trees. Views of the hills and small nearby towns is almost panoramic and it’s incredibly peaceful . You definitely need a car for Corfu as public transport is practically non existent, and if you live up in hills it will take you a good 30minutes to get to supermarkets. Plus you want to experience the beautiful beaches so you need to drive or boat to them. This villa is perfect for families I really enjoyed it. It was the perfect post COVID stay. The location is lush, tranquil and heart-crushingly beautiful. The owner Stamatis and his lovely wife and helpers are charming hosts: friendly without overdoing it and give great advice on places to go etc, The villa is gorgeous and well equipped with anything you want. It's clean and has such lovely touches from the handcrafted leather, the giant rocking chair - I could read in that for hours and the lit pool for night-time discos. Favourite things. Stamatis organised a private chef for a small dinner for my husband which was just what we needed after a day at sea. There is a lovely local restaurant just outside the village whose name I can't find. You sit under the trees in a gravel courtyard facing the small road. On Saturdays there is live music which was magical. we ate there at leats 5 times. Greta specials and try the grilled mushrooms as a starter. Corfu Old Town for a special meal. Corfu is beautiful and has so much to do. Unfortunately our children ad ourselves loved the villa so much we pretty much camped there for 2 weeks. We will be back to explore more. Βορειότερα σας περιμένουν οι παραλίες των Λιαπάδων (5 χλμ.), της Ροβινιάς (5 χλμ.), της Παλαιοκαστρίτσας (10 χλμ.), του Αγ. Γεωργίου Πάγων (22 χλμ.), του Αγ. Στεφάνου Αυλιωτών (30 χλμ.), αλλά και το ξακουστό Σιδάρι (28 χλμ.) με το περίφημο Canal d’ Amour. Σε απόσταση περίπου 4 χλμ. από τη Villa Fioretta υπάρχει το σύγχρονο γήπεδο γκολφ της Κέρκυρας που εδρεύει στην κοιλάδα του Ρόπα και έχει χαρακτηριστεί από πολλούς ως ένα από τα ωραιότερα της Ευρώπης. Είναι ένα μέρος ειδυλλιακό με λίμνες, ρυάκια, και δεντροστοιχίες, περιτριγυρισμένο από καταπράσινους λόφους. Το γήπεδο είναι 18 οπών και 72 par και λειτουργεί όλο το χρόνο. Η Villa Fioretta συνεργάζεται με το ιππικό κέντρο Silvaland για να προσφέρει τη χαρά της ιππασίας στους λάτρεις του αθλήματος. Το ιππικό κέντρο ολυμπιακών προδιαγραφών, εκτείνεται σε μια έκταση 60 στρεμμάτων, στην περιοχή Καλαφατιώνων και περιλαμβάνει ακόμα και μια σκεπαστή αρένα 2.000m τετραγωνικών μέτρων. Ανοιχτό όλο το χρόνο, προσφέρει τη δυνατότητα μαθημάτων, αλλά και θεραπευτικής ιππασίας.

Το «Διεθνές Μονοπάτι» που είναι γνωστό στους λάτρεις της πεζοπορίας περνάει έξω από το αγρόκτημα και σε συνδυασμό με ένα γραφικό δίκτυο μονοπατιών, οδηγεί σε κοντινά χωριά όπως τους Μάρμαρο, τους Γιαννάδες, τους Κανακάδες, το λιβάδι του Ρόπα, τους Λιαπάδες κ.α. Ακόμα και για τους άπειρους πεζοπόρους σε απόσταση μικρότερη των 10 χλμ. υπάρχουν πανέμορφες μικρές παραλίες για να δροσιστείτε, με τις πιο γνωστές να είναι της Ροβινιάς, το Λιμνί, το Λινιόδωρο και πολλές ακόμα!

Περίοδος Καρναβαλιού:
- Καρναβαλικές παρελάσεις σε διάφορες ημέρες κατά την διάρκεια των αποκριών με πρωτότυπα κουστούμια και Βενετσιάνικους χαρακτήρες, μάσκες και βαψίματα.
- Το έθιμο τη «Πετεγολέτσας», όπου οι Κερκυραίες κουτσομπολεύουν τα τοπικά γεγονότα στην κερκυραϊκή διάλεκτο σε πλατείες στην πόλη της Κέρκυρας.
- Ακολουθούν καντάδες και μαντολινάτα (Τσικνοπέμπτη).
- Κεντρική παρέλαση καρναβαλιού. Οι καρναβαλιστές κατηγορούν και δικάζουν τον Καρνάβαλο για όλα τα άσχημα του χρόνου και στο τέλος της παρέλασης τον καίνε και διαβάζουν την διαθήκη του. Ακολουθεί γλέντι με χορούς και τραγούδια.
- Ο χορός των «ιερέων», όπου ο παπάς του χωριού και μετά οι υπόλοιποι άντρες τραγουδούν και χορεύουν στην πλατεία του Αγ. Βασιλείου στο χωριό Επίσκεψη.
- «Ο γάμος του Καρναβαλιού», όπου σε διάφορα χωριά την τελευταία Κυριακή του καρναβαλιού άντρες μασκαρεμένοι σε γαμπρό και νύφη, παντρεύονται ενώ ένας υποτιθέμενος σάτυρος προσπαθεί να εμποδίσει την γιορτή του γάμου.
Περίοδος Πάσχα:
- Κυριακή Βαΐων, μεγάλη λιτανεία Αγίου Σπυρίδωνα συνοδεία φιλαρμονικών
- Μεγάλη Τετάρτη, συναυλία της δημοτικής χορωδίας στο δημοτικό θέατρο
- Μεγάλη Παρασκευή, περιφορά επιταφίων συνοδεία φιλαρμονικών όλη την ημέρα
- Μεγάλο Σάββατο, μεγάλη λιτανεία του Αγίου Σπυρίδωνα με συνοδεία όλων των φιλαρμονικών, ακολουθεί το έθιμο του σπασίματος των κανατιών, ενώ το βράδυ γίνεται η λειτουργία της Ανάστασης στην πλατεία της Σπιανάδας και ακολουθούν θεαματικά πυροτεχνήματα.
11 Αυγούστου
Λιτανεία του Αγίου το πρωί συνοδεία φιλαρμονικών, ενώ στο σούρουπο ακολουθεί η «Βαρκαρόλα» που είναι παρέλαση από βάρκες και πλωτές ολοστόλιστες εξέδρες με κιθάρες, παραδοσιακά τραγούδια, ντόπιους χορευτές και παραστάσεις εν πλω σε μια μεγάλη διαδρομή κατά μήκος της ακτής της πόλης.
Πρώτη Κυριακή του Νοέμβρη
Δοξολογία του Αγίου σε ανάμνηση της σωτηρίας του νησιού από επιδημία χολέρας και λιτανεία συνοδεία φιλαρμονικών.
Περίοδος Χριστουγέννων
Φιλαρμονικές και χορωδίες σε διάφορες μουσικές εκδηλώσεις στο δημοτικό θέατρο Κέρκυρας εξυμνούν το Πνεύμα των Χριστουγέννων.
Καλοκαιρινή περίοδος
- Πληθώρα πανηγυριών στα χωριά συνδεδεμένες με τις θρησκευτικές γιορτές.
- Υπαίθριες μουσικές εκδηλώσεις σε διάφορα σημεία της Χώρας της Κέρκυρας σε εβδομαδιαία βάση.
